Instead of passing a Climate Change policy bill before the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cophenhagen this Dec…why doesnt the US delegation show up in SurvivaBall’s? The Senate has been heavily distracted as of recent with health care reform debate. Many think that the Senate will not be able to get a Climate Bill passed this year even though the House has already passed its version. One of these doubters is majority leader Harry Reid. Senator’s Barbara Boxer D-Calif and John [...] The citizens of Seattle will have an opportunity to support or reject a 20-cent plastic and paper bag fee. This bag fee was approved in July 2008 by the Seattle City Council with a 6 to 1 vote. Shortly after the bag fee was approved the American Chemistry Council started an all out media blitz portraying the bag fee as a tax and imposition on the residents of Seattle. |
