About

What is TheGreenNW?

TheGreenNW is a hub for both opinion leaders and newcomers to the sustainable movement in the Pacific Northwest. We host a roster of regional and national influencers in the fields of renewable energy, sustainable development, conservation, healthy lifestyles, education, and vibrant community.  By reporting on and aggregating the most interesting content in the environmental movement, we create an arena for discussion and ideas while filtering out the noise.

TheGreenNW partners with organizations, businesses, and politicians to push the conversation past “The Green Revolution” and into the realm of real solutions.  The key to creating sustainable communities lies within the ability to educate those communities.  TheGreenNW’s mission is to provide an outlet for individuals and businesses to discover, discuss and encourage implementation of sustainable practices in their everyday lives. We love to hear good ideas and provocative viewpoints from our readers, and look forward to on-going discussion.
